I have had the pleasure of knowing Linda Ratner since 2012 when I began working at Impact Urgent Care. At that time she was the CEO, visionary, and co-owner of the clinic system when it was one clinic. Over a period of 3 years I watched her grow the clinic to three locations, where it became an attractive business for investment. She then oversaw the transition during purchase and stayed on to open 4 more locations over 2 more years.
Linda wore many hats the years I worked with her and was often, it seemed, a “one man band.” Administratively in the early days, she was directly involved all aspects of human resources and also created the entire written policies and procedures manual. Yet when needed, she would don scrubs and triage or manage patients. She spearheaded marketing and spent many hours at outreach community events. In all things her nursing background shone through, as her goal was always to treat the patient as the primary mission. As she transitioned to corporate, she was a liason between corporate and clinic, and took on more executive planning and budgeting roles. She accomplished all this while simultaneously obtaining a bachelors and master’s degree.
In all things Linda is upbeat and optimistic. She has an indefatigable “can do” attitude. She is a leader that is respected and liked. She knows how to take calculated risks and most often she is successful. Her executive function is superb, as she manages her time and acts on her decisions efficiently and with grace.
